The RMIT School Showcase is an annual celebration that spotlights the best work by RMIT students in the areas of Business & Management, Communication & Design, Science, Engineering and Technology. More than that, it demonstrates the learning outcomes achieved by our students on their academic journey, which includes research, experimentation, developmental work and often multiple samples, prototypes, written drafts, and mock-ups prior to the final submission.
At RMIT, we aim to create IMPACT. In accordance with this value, the Showcase is a testament to how students perform best when afforded chances to recognize how their in-classroom activities are tied to real-world outcomes and informed by needs as advised by industry, government, or non-profit partners. This approach to the classroom, referred to as authentic learning, is a student-centric approach that requires learners to become creators of knowledge rather than consumers of knowledge, fosters collaboration through peer learning and inter-teaching exercises, replicates the professional experience through work integrated learning (WIL), and encourages students to meaningfully reflect on the value of their learning journey and their role in creating and sustaining positive IMPACT in both Vietnam and abroad.
